ROLES
APPRENTICE
TONI&GUY Apprenticeship Programme offers NVQ training to Levels 2 and 3, and through a unique partnership with City&Guilds, progression to Level 4 (vardering). You will work alongside hairdressing experts in our TONI&GUY salons covering all aspects of hairdressing including bespoke cutting, styling, technical and perming techniques. You will also learn about customer care, reception, retail and health and safety. In addition, the apprenticeship programme includes functional skills, which will give you the opportunity to gain maths and English qualifications (Certain GCSE grades carry exemptions from Functional Skills).
STYLIST
As a Stylist you will have been trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 and you will have also gone through further in-house training (vardering) in order to perfect your skills in our bespoke way of Styling. Covering all aspects of Styling including full consultation with clients, building new clientele, referring clients for colour, recommending products throughout the ranges and increasing client product knowledge and product sales. You will be a role model within the salon, mentoring the Apprentices and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
TECHNICIAN
As a Technician you will have been trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 and will have also gone through further in-house training (vardering) in order to have perfected your skills in our bespoke Technical processes. Providing full Technical services such as consultation with clients, building new clientele, referring clients for colour, recommending products throughout the ranges and increasing client product knowledge and product sales. You will be a role model in the salon, mentoring the Apprentices and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
RECEPTIONIST
As a Receptionist you will have previous experience in a customer facing role and a passion for client service. Booking appointments, creating bills, retail sales and cashing up, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the Reception area, representing and promoting the TONI&GUY brand and its Superbrand status at all times.
SALON MANAGER
As a Salon Manager you will have a proven record of managing or supervising a team within a busy salon environment. You will hold the most vital position in the salon and will actively help drive the business forward by ensuring the efficient and profitable running of the salon. This will include the management and motivation of all salon staff, overall responsibility for health and safety, ensuring that rotas are prepared and targets are achieved and overseeing the Apprentices to ensure that they are receiving the best support during their training. You will be the first point of contact for all staffing issues, as well as leading the team in recommending products throughout the ranges and increasing client product knowledge and sales.
